MUMBAI, India -- An unknown Islamist group claimed responsibility for a series of bomb blasts Tuesday that killed more than 60 people in India's popular tourist destination of Jaipur.
The group, calling itself the Indian Mujahedeen, said it was behind the attacks, in an email containing video clips that was sent to Indian television stations. The email said the attacks were targeted at tourism in India and to punish it for supporting the U.S. and Britain. The video clips showed a bicycle in a market -- a reference to the fact that most of the bombs were in bags on bikes.
